The incumbent should have the capability to conceive and manage a program which enables sustained focus on cultivating culture and personal relationships. This will be achieved through a combination of fun, community building, team building, and wellness activities. This role has a global scope, with particular focus on India
Candidate Profile :
We are seeking a high caliber individual to maintain our exceptional standards. This person should have :
- Mature and good judgment for what constitutes a fun culture in a professional services context
- High energy and social - engages with wide range of office/organization
- Good at simultaneously planning and managing multiple threads of activity
- Able to understand and appreciate objectives of executive leadership and help translate them into practical impacts on the culture
- Likely has 6 -12 years of experience in a professional organization
- Could potentially be a part-time role if preferred by the candidate
Job Responsibilities :
- Conceive, refine, and manage a program of initiatives that aid in building the culture through a combination of fun activities, strengthening of relationships, and internal networking. Program would include existing initiatives and new initiatives
- Manage overall program to align against objectives, organizational capacity, and budgets
- Collaborate with senior leadership to understand objectives, organizational needs, and trends; counsel and coach on mechanisms to support
- Existing programs include:
a. Champion and manage FunCom (e.g., quarterly social events, major festivals, annual sports event, offsite)
b. Rewards and recognition programs (e.g., Pinnacle Awards, Annual Research Awards)
c. Other (e.g., monthly cake cuttings, brown bag lunches, new hire welcome events, corporate social responsibility)
- New programs could include things such as surprise events (e.g., pranks, mime in the lobby, silly competitions, chalk mural), wellness and engagement (e.g., yoga, cooking, nature), and employee lifecycle recognitions (e.g., marriage, baby, employment anniversaries)
- Advocate for and manage office-based infrastructure to enable socialization (e.g., game room, lounge/coffee shop, images/music)
- Collaborate with relevant functions (e.g., learning & development, office admin)
