About our Client - Our client is amongst the largest multinational retail giants globally. With a strong presence in India, they have a huge technology presence in Bangalore to support their front office teams in different geographies. They are looking for a head of Talent acquisition from an IT/ITes /Captive set up in India to be based in Bangalore.
Job Description - Reporting into the Head if HR, your responsibilities will include:
- Leadership Responsibilities - Directly manages Talent Acquisition Senior Managers and Team Assistant. Directs, supervises and coordinates work activities of direct reports. Responsible for performance management of team members. Creates and communicates the vision for the recruitment team and develops goals and objectives based on staffing, development, retention, and brand management.
- Lateral and Campus Recruiting - Develops recruitment strategies for the business units to ensure the selection of top quality candidates. Works with business and HR leaders to forecast recruiting needs and determine the best source of talent.
- Leadership Recruiting - Works with leadership recruiter to attract top talent to key leadership roles
- Expense Control - Develops an annual budget and makes financially sound decisions and monitors recruiting expenses to ensure expenses remain within budget.
- Internal Relations - Creates and maintains partnerships with HR, business leaders to understand recruitment needs and develop recruitment strategies. Actively pursues knowledge of client group operations and understands key elements business and financial status. Works with global partners to leverage applicable parts of the global strategy for India to supplement local strategies
- External Relations - Develops and maintains relationships with search firms and networking organizations
- Analysis - Tracks analytical data regarding all facets of the hiring process and monitors ROI. Adjusts recruiting strategy, as needed, based on analysis.
- Project Management - Lead and execute on top priority or complex recruiting related projects to help streamline the recruiting process or enhance the brand experience for candidates.
The Successful Candidate - You will come with 14+ years of experience with at least 5 years in managing large recruitment teams. You will currently be in a Talent Acquisition role with an IT / ITes company. Exposure to managing global stakeholders and working in a highly matrixed organization is essential for this role.
