The JD for Talent Acquisition R & D Head.
- Candidates Pharma, Chemical, Petro-chemical sectors.
- The candidates should have a strong experience into recruitment especially for R & D set ups. Academic pedigree should be good.
A global R&D division and client set up at Hyderabad, and will shortly move to establish a satellite R&D centre at B'lore.
- Being a multi location - multi geography entity, it requires the HR team to think and act accordingly.
- The recruiter should bring in a global perspective in talent acquisition at the same time should have strong focus on regular requirements of talent.
- The talent acquisition lead should ideally have a good connect within the Pharma and related industries and should continuously look out for right talent, should understand the strategic inputs and think through present and future requirements in the business.
- The potential role incumbent should have extremely high level of execution focus and ability to adhere to laid down processes and matrices and be efficient in handling social media, for talent sourcing.

Key Responsibilities
- Closely engage with hiring managers to ensure clearly articulated role details. Position the role appropriately with candidates.
- Develop hiring approach to source relevant talent for each open position. Leverage consultants and all available sources effectively.
- Define selection process, assist in identifying the right talent from the market
- Efficiently and effectively fill open positions within defined SLA?s. Negotiate for a "win-win" proposition.
- Research and recommend new sources for active and passive candidate recruiting & develop a proactive pool of qualified candidates
- Assist in identifying and building new channels of recruitment and talent pools
- Leverage technology for hiring
- Use different internet portals, including internal & external portals
- Use social and professional networking media to identify and source candidates
- Strengthen hiring systems and processes
- Manage and drive recruitment analytics for the Business unit
Operating Network
- Internal: IPDO Function Heads, Hiring Managers, HR Heads, BU HR teams, Corporate HR
- External: Consultants, Internet based agencies, Educational Institutions, Talent across industries
- Educational Qualifications: Preferably an MBA - HR from a premier business school, Graduate in Science/ technology
- Technical Requirements: Well-honed interviewing skills, excellent networking skills, leverage technology especially social media
- Experience Required: 10- 12 years of HR experience. Experience in talent acquisition preferred.
