Head - Talent Acquisition
Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Talent Acquisition Head to lead our recruitment efforts across India. As the Talent Acquisition Head, you will be responsible for developing and executing a comprehensive talent acquisition strategy to attract, engage, and retain top talent to support our organization's growth objectives. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in leading recruitment initiatives, building strong employer branding, and fostering a positive candidate experience.
Responsibilities:
Strategy Development:
- Develop and implement a strategic talent acquisition plan aligned with the organization's business objectives and growth targets.
- Identify key talent acquisition metrics and performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of recruitment efforts and drive continuous improvement.
Recruitment Operations:
- Oversee the end-to-end recruitment process, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, and hiring candidates across all levels and functions.
- Utilize a variety of recruitment channels and techniques to attract diverse talent, including job boards, social media, networking events, and employee referrals.
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws and regulations governing recruitment and employment practices.
Employer Branding:
- Develop and promote the employer brand to attract top talent and enhance the organization's reputation as an employer of choice.
- Partner with marketing and communications teams to create compelling employer branding content, including job postings, employee testimonials, and company culture videos.
Candidate Experience:
- Champion a positive candidate experience throughout the recruitment process, from initial contact to onboarding.
- Implement best practices to streamline and enhance the candidate journey, including efficient communication, timely feedback, and personalized engagement.
Talent Pipeline Management:
- Build and maintain a robust talent pipeline to proactively address current and future hiring needs.
- Develop relationships with universities, professional organizations, and industry networks to identify and engage top talent.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead, mentor, and coach a team of recruiters and talent acquisition specialists, providing guidance and support to help them achieve their goals and develop their skills.
- Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the talent acquisition team.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- Minimum of 12 years of experience in talent acquisition or recruitment roles, with at least 3 years in a leadership or managerial position.
- Proven track record of success in developing and executing talent acquisition strategies to support organizational growth objectives.
- Deep understanding of recruitment best practices, sourcing techniques, and talent assessment methods.
- Strong knowledge of employment laws and regulations, with experience ensuring compliance in recruitment activities.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and negotiation skills, with the ability to build relationships with candidates, hiring managers, and external partners.
- Demonstrated ability to lead and develop high-performing teams in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Experience working with recruitment technology and applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Certification in Human Resources (e.g., SHRM-CP, PHR) or recruitment (e.g., LinkedIn Certified Recruiter) is a plus.
