Head - Supply Chain Management - Intelligent Transportation Systems

About the Company - An Advance Technology Solutions provider for Infrastructure Management. A fast-growing mid-sized Systems Integration / Solutions Engineering / Technology Projects Company in the field of ITS (Intelligent Transportation Systems) and Electronic Tolling on Highways / Expressways, Urban Traffic Management / Smart Cities, Automatic Fare Collection and Transit Management Systems for Metro Rail & Public Bus Transport Network.

Key Responsibilities:

- Lead the entire Supply Chain function for the company, developing best practices

- Plan and implement the overall strategy.

- Collaborate with Business, Operations, and Customer Service teams.

- Drive the attainment of company performance, profitability and efficiency in regard to all purchasing, including packaging, logistics, capex items, inventory management, imp-ex documentation.

- Determine key supply chain KPIs.

- Maximize efficiency and cost optimization in the supply chain, and improve accuracy and results through collaborative approach with vendors/suppliers.

- Implement best practices in regard to technology, inventory and demand management, and compliance management within the company.

- Identify process bottleneck and implement solutions in a timely manner.

- Lead Blanket bulk orders/ annual / quarterly / monthly negotiations with suppliers.

- Support all manufacturing and project sites through prompt, efficient and cost effective procurement of the right quality products.

- Audit Standard Operating Procedures across supply chain.

- Manage and optimize transportation and other direct / indirect (or hidden) costs in the supply chain.

- Work with finance, sales, and manufacturing team to determine best vendors and distributors.

- Develop positive, long term and strong relationships with vendors/suppliers.

- Ensure strict compliance with regulations, and company standards.

- Drive operational excellence and best practices to improve purchasing and other costs.

Experience and Qualification Required:

- International Sourcing Experience and Good Negotiation Skills.

- Strong experience as a Supply Chain Manager for 15 years and above.
