Job Title - Warehouse Operations & Logistics Head (Ecommerce)
Job Description:
- Own supply chain strategies and deploy them to drive down cost, improve speed and reliability.
- Manage the entire warehouse operations from shipment receipts to order management, picking, and Inventory management to order fulfilment.
- Define SLAs in consultation with the management and make efforts to control and maintain them.
- Should have a brief understanding of Legal framework for taxes, levies & compliances related to Courier / Transportations / Supply Chain.
- Lead Seller Pickup Team, Last Mile Delivery Team, Ticketing & Escalation Teams & drive the KPI's around the same owning the NPS related to Seller Pickups, Non-Deliveries, Escalation Management.
- Deliver key metrics such as On-time delivery, fulfilment and quality.
- Define and build process, people capability and capacity to deliver business growth needs.
- Identify and partner with global logistic carriers for transportation and negotiate rates and contracts.
- Responsible for monthly/quarterly/yearly stock audits.
- Develop key performance indicators to measure the effectiveness of the warehouse operations.
- Keeping stock control systems up to date and making sure inventories are always accurate.
- Conduct quality check and ensure all items meet with the quality criteria.
- Achieve operational efficiency by proper resource allocation and maintenance and up-gradation of resources from time to time.
- Ensure optimum capacity utilization of warehouse by designing best-fit layouts of a warehouse, goods/material placement, inventory movement and maintenance of the warehouse.
- People Development through regular feedbacks, coaching & mentoring, identifying and facilitating training needs.
Job Specifications:
- Should have 7-8 years of experience in building & managing warehouse and logistics for ecommerce.
- Ideal candidate should have experienced & contributed to the growth in a fast-growing ecommerce business.
- Knowledge of logistics, including carriers, shipping policies and procedures.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to recognize and react to critical business priorities among multiple tasks and prioritize accordingly.
- Excellent communication skills.
- Strong problem solving, analytical, decision making and technical ability.
- People Management skills with ability to interact at all levels.

- Reports to CEO.
