1. Synopsis of the role The successful candidate will manage most aspects of the supply chain for the business, in particular:
a) Procurement of packing materials (where appropriate)
b) Planning and forecasting
c) Production
d) Quality assurance:
Logistics and warehousing
The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering efficiency and innovation in their area and for contributing to the Company's overall business objectives.
2. Essential functions:
In-depth experience in:
a) Dealing with the changing dynamics of a fast-growing business
b) Planning and forecasting
c) Dealing with outsourced production partners
d) Managing warehousing & logistics across different jurisdictions and with partners with conflicting requirements (e.g. production vs. sales)
In-depth knowledge of/ comfort with:
a) The FMCG space Budgets and P&L
b) Delivering to the Company's overall business objectives and strategy
c) Delivering efficiency and innovation in their areas
Highly comfortable dealing and/ or managing:
a) Third party partners in India (e.g. production)
b) Third party partners abroad (e.g. warehousing & distribution)
c) Clients in developed markets (e.g. Coles, Sainsburys, Spinneys, Tesco)
