Head - Supply Chain - FMCG

We are urgently hiring for the role of Supply chain Head for Gurgaon location:

Looking for someone from Food/ Beverage industry only

The Role : Supply Chain Head

- Adhere to logistics processes, inventory management, procurement of RM/PM & stores [Be the supplier of happiness for us so that we can be for many]

- Keep detailed records, generate reports, and develop presentations to help management understand the logistics perspective [Be logic-istic!]

- Construct healthy relationships within the company and with external clients viz such as suppliers or distributors [You're one of our Special 26]

- Analyze data from shipping and delivering processes to find bottlenecks and other issues [Finding Dory-Delayed Orders Ruining Yields]

- Evaluate and report on KPIs [Are you the Key Performer we're looking for?]

- Read and comprehend legal documents, such as contracts or import/export agreements [Can't stress on relevance of eloquence]

- You'll be the central connection to collaborate with diverse teams to identify and develop sustainable logistical solutions [ROP and EOQ are your weapons', Sunk Cost is the enemy]

- Negotiate prices and terms with suppliers, vendors, or freight forwarders [Nobody likes the deal breaker but the deal broker]

- Monitor supplier performance to assess the ability to meet quality and delivery requirements [Read it as "loads of Templates and Excel Spreadsheets"]

- Enforce innovative and effective supply chain processes [Basically, we like to serve with style]

Expectations:

- The candidate should have worked with an e-commerce giant at a significant role and at factory/warehouse level,

- Previous experience as a supply chain manager or in a similar field Excellent knowledge of supply chain processes

- The candidate should be open to Travel

- Working experience of relevant software (e.g. SAP MM)

- Should have sound knowledge about the industry (F&B or FMCG) and insights about the operational activities too like (but are not exhaustive to):

- Inventory management

- Vendor management & development

- RM/PM/Logistics cost optimization

- Good material keeping ability

- Excellent Interpersonal skills

- Good communication skills

- Excellent organizational and project management skills

- Attention to detail

- Creative problem-solving
