Head - Supplier Quality & Supplier Development - Manufacturing/Automobile

Job Title: Head- SQA & SD

Reports to: Head- Strategic Sourcing

Job Position:

We are looking for Head of Supplier Quality and Supplier Development. He/ She should have relevant functional experience and outstanding business acumen with 15+ years of experience

Responsibilities :

- Provide leadership in shaping and implementing the supplier quality assurance and supplier development strategy

- Provide strategic thinking and expertise throughout the entire product development life cycle with a strong sense of quality ownership ensuring quality is integrated in product development from the start

- Develop robust metrics to monitor the performance of suppliers and implement a mechanism of reporting out the performance

- Develop supplier maturity assessment framework. Assess the maturity of the suppliers and develop programs for supplier development.

- Develop and implement programs for enhancing efficiency and capacity at suppliers without additional capex

- Contribute to new business initiatives and projects and communicate the impact on Quality activities

- Manage the team by providing regular direction and mentoring. Develop team's capability roadmap in accordance to organization's product roadmap.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in engineering from premier engineering institutes; MBA is desirable

- 15+ years of relevant functional experience

- Experience in industries such as Automobile, White goods or related manufacturing industries

Travel to supplier locations, as required
