Head Strategy for a leading fashion apparel & sportswear start-up in Bangalore  Job Description : Head Strategy   Location : Bangalore, India  Position : Manager, Strategic Initiatives  Reporting to : CEO  Company Details :  A start-up in fast fashion apparels, sportswear and footwear backed by a retail giant.  Key Responsibility Areas :   - This position will be an integral part of the core team, and individual will play a critical and independent role in defining the business strategies and driving them towards execution.   - Key work content will include crystallizing business growth strategies including target customer / product / geographic segments, fashion brands industry landscaping, strategic inputs on brands positioning, go-to-market planning, strategy for channel partners, brands portfolio management, and screening and due diligence on acquiring licenses of global brands.  - Candidate will work closely with the business team, to develop short-term and long-term strategy, as well as drive execution of the strategies.  - The candidate needs to have the relevant experience (5+ years) of working for strategy development for mid-large size companies in India either from top-tier management consulting background, or Strategy position within Corporate.   - The individual should be a go-getter with excellent analytical, problem solving and execution skills.  - The candidate must possess excellent skills in formulating strategies, should be very comfortable with analytical assessment and financial modelling in a data-driven and hypothesis-based manner, and should be able to work independently.  - In addition, the individual must be extremely organized, yet comfortable in a rapidly changing, dynamic environment.   - High energy, "roll-up your sleeves" attitude and commitment to success are absolutely imperative.  Qualifications/ Experience :  - Post Graduate degree / diploma in Management (MBA) from a reputed Indian or global institute, along with a Graduate degree in related disciplines (e.g. Engineering, Sales/Marketing, Business Admin, IT)   - Candidate should have ideally 5+ years of experience in strategy / business development or related areas for Indian or multinational organizations either a top-tier management consulting firm or with mid-large size Corporates.   - Understanding of Indian apparel retail markets or E-commerce industry will be an added advantage
