About our Client: Our client is a Fortune 500 giant and is Japan's leading diversified chemical company. It is among the top 10 Chemical Companies globally. Our client has its operations in around 50 countries and leads about 282 affiliate companies across the globe. They started their operations in India in the early 90's. Based out of Kolkata, they are currently looking to hire their Finance Head in India.

Job Description: Reporting to Director Finance - based out of Singapore and MD - India, you would be required to:

- Articulate and define finance function's strategy in line with the business strategy and direct the implementation of the same.

- Develop and implement finance / auditing / accounting and billing procedures etc in view with the finance function strategy.

- Create cash forecasting processes/frameworks to monitor cash keeping currency fluctuations in mind on a regular basis and hence ensure healthy cash reserves.

- Finalize the development of financial policies and procedures to enable adequate fund availability to meet organization's scheduled plans/ timelines.

- Develop finance function's budget in line with the finance's annual operating plan.

- Formulate strategy for cost reduction/optimization in different processes to enhance cost efficiency in the organization.

- Develop and execute holistic cost benefit analysis before venturing into any new projects/ initiatives.

The Successful Candidate:

- You are a CA & an ICWA with minimum 20 years of experience with Chemical / Petrochemical / Manufacturing background.

- Experience of plant controllership would be an added advantage.

- You should be excellent interpersonally and have prior team handing experience.
