Job Description: Head - Strategic Marketing (Pune)
Candidate: Less than 35 years old
Qualification:
- MBA in Marketing. An engineering degree is preferred but not necessary for pre-qualification
Experience:
- Around 8-10 years in FMCG, FMCD or any other industry with high level of Marketing activities
Responsibilities:
- Creation of the Annual Marketing Plan and Execution - with Budgeting & ROI accountability - in line with the Business group objectives.
- Establish Thermax as the - Trusted & Preferred brand of choice- within the market segments.
- Setting strategy, creative development, management and delivering the results from key B2B lead generation activities driven by BTL /ATL activities, SEO/SEM, social media, direct mail, email and conferences/events for the Thermax range of products.
- Drive Lead generation, by launching specific targeted campaigns (BTL/ATL, PR) for the identified market segments across product categories.
- Deploy the Marketing plans across the regions - by working closely with a team of 4 Regional marketing managers reporting into this role.
- Effectively manage marketing budget to maximize lead volume and profitability
- Develop & Execute proposition Activation Plans - including Product launches, PR, etc- in line with category guidelines.
- Track the Sales & Market Shares across categories across regions.
- Identify new opportunities/approaches to promoting products and services
- Support partner and channel marketing initiatives using the full range of marketing tools/media
- Strong advocate for enhancing Brand and adhering to standards
Profile & Skill Sets required -
- Astute Dynamic & Result oriented Marketing leader - with experience across B2B /or/ Industry business /or / reputed advertising agency - with exposure to B2B business.
- Exposure to Consumer durables / FMCG would be an added advantage.
- Experience in Segment marketing - for any specific market segment.
- The ideal candidate should have demonstrated a business turnaround in a business unit with the help of a strategic marketing plan being implemented in the past.
- Hands-on Experience on Demand generation / Lead Generation modules via various routes.
- Exposure to various BTL activities with a track record of Delivering the marketing objectives with these BTL activities launched by the candidate.
- Minimum 2 years hands-on digital experience with a track record of launching successful Digital Campaigns with defined objectives and desired outputs w.r.t. Market reach, customer engagement, category engagement & Gain mkt share.
- Experience in working along with Creative Agencies for Content / Sales Tools Creation - video development/multi-media presentations / E Catalogues / EDMs etc
- Adept at managing Customer Targeted Events - Exhibitions / Trade shows / Industry Specific Customer Engagement events .
- Exposure to Direct Mail / EDMs etc for Specific customers / channel segments.
- Significant project planning and campaign execution expertise
- Deep analytical skills - developing the right questions and generating the correct data to guide plan formulation and products
- Should have worked in a multi BU environment and demonstrated - Collaboration- across multi-division / businesses - in a cross-functional environment
- Creative development experience, well-honed interpersonal, communication & writing / editing skills.
