Head - Sourcing: This role will be tasked with leading the vendor management & sourcing for all components required for Gravton vehicles. He / She will report to the Founder, and will be supported by a down-the-line team that he / she will be expected to nurture and leverage. He / She will own the following functions, and will have accountability on:

- Listing - Creating & maintaining a list of vendors by size, specialisation, capabilities, weakness, strengths and costs. This will require regular audits on each parameter.

- Networking - Developing professional relations with vendors, and treating them as partners.

- Meeting QCT Targets - Quality, Cost, Timeline - these will be the key performance areas on which the Head-Sourcing will evaluate his vendors, and in turn will be evaluated himself / herself.

Head - Component Sales:


This role will be tasked with leading the component business of GEI. He / She will report to the Founder, and will be an individual contributor till there arises a need to develop a team. He/ She will own the following functions, and will have accountability on:

- Prospecting - Developing a database of prospective OEM clients by product category, with comparative data on their annual purchase of components in terms of type, volume, price, rejection rate, rejection penalties and other parameters.

- Pitching - Developing a structured system of pitching to prospective clients, with a rigorous review mechanism. Objective & subjective analysis on 'What Went Right' and 'What Went Wrong' which is comparable across clients and product categories.

- Targets - In sync with the Founder, developing & owning measurable targets on volumes, price & profitability, and account management satisfaction scores from clients.

- Insights-based Product Strategy - Based on customer requirements, anticipate future products, and communicate the same to product development teams at GEI, and create demand.

Candidate Profile Required:

The successful candidate will have focussed experience of sourcing, vendor management, techno- commercial sales. He / She will have a track record of delivering market success, and turning around challenging situations into situations of strength.

- He / She will have experience in leading multi-faceted teams and fostering a culture of excellence. In a self-starter environment like Gravton Motors, he / she is expected to be a problem solving, result oriented, highly motivated individual.

- He / She will be someone who understands that this role has a direct impact on the growth of the organisation, as well as his / her own.
