Function : Production & Quality

Reporting to: Managing Director

Education : Post Graduate Degree Experience 18 to 22 years

Position Summary

Lead, direct and control the raw material procurement, production/fabrication at vendors and quality assurance at various stages of production

Key Responsibilities

- Establish production budgets, monitor the cost and effectiveness of production activities to optimize resources, prioritize spending, and achieve volume, quality, and manufacturing standards

- Establish and drive vendor management program within the organization with an aim to achieve the following:

Develop existing vendor base and help them scale up with a view to establish a long term relationship

Evaluate performance of existing vendor base with respect to on time delivery as well as compliance with quality standards

Engage new vendors as and when required

- Achieve desired quality levels through implementation of quality strategies and programs including development of standards for monitoring agents

- Design & implement an efficient and cost effective fabric sourcing mechanism with fabric team

- Establish and drive fabric supplier management program through the fabric team within the organization with an aim to achieve the following:

Develop existing supplier base and help them scale up with a view to establish a long term relationship

Evaluate performance of existing supplier base with respect to on time delivery as well as compliance with quality standards

Engage new suppliers as and when required

Key Performance Indicators

- Adherence to production (procurement & fabrication) budget

- Number of quality issues

- % reduction in cycle time i.e. from development to distribution

- % achievement of recruitment plans

- % attrition in production & quality department

- Vendor feedback score
