Head/SM - Credit Risk - Commercial Bank

We are currently scouting for Credit risk professionals with one of the largest commercial Bank in UAE for their India office.

- The role demands post qualification 8 to 20 years of experience in credit risk management preferably from Corporate Banking . You will be responsible for identifying, assessing, monitoring and controlling credit risk of the bank group via risk based approach. You will also be responsible for formulating and reviewing credit policies and guidelines so as to facilitate implementation of the Bank Group’s business strategies, to cater for market development and to fulfill the statutory regulations .

- To plan and allocate resources to carry out the functions of Credit Risk Management Department. You will have a breadth of experience across all risk disciplines and be able to demonstrate strong leadership and people management skills. Key will be your business awareness with a clear understanding of how risk management decisions impact upon business performance and a full understanding of external regulations and their impact on the business will also be expected.

- The key purpose of this role is to deliver effective risk management of the Business via the development of a strategic vision for risk management within the coverage business. This role reports directly into the Head of Risk. Excellent analytical, report writing, interpersonal and communication skills is needed.
