Site Operations Head

- Our client is a leading CDMO from India, ranked among the top five pure-play CDMOs and distinguished as the only speciality pharma CDMO in the region.

Role Summary :

- We're looking for a seasoned Site Operations Leader to manage the site's operations, including long-term strategy, budgeting, compliance, and daily activities.

- You will be key in ensuring the successful execution of business strategies and operational outcomes while upholding our company's values and quality standards.

Role Expectations :

- As a senior member of the Senior Management Team, you will drive performance and growth, manage commercial planning, budgeting, and forecasts, and ensure that operational targets and capacity utilization are met.

Key Responsibilities :

Production :

- Oversee production scheduling and ensure adherence to plans.

- Coordinate with departments to achieve Delivery in Full and On Time (DIFOT) targets.

- Ensure timely execution of exhibit and submission batches.

Quality & Regulatory Compliance :

- Maintain regulatory and customer compliance at all times.

- Meet quality objectives as per agreements and ensure adherence to QMS standards.

- Implement and ensure compliance with SOPs and cGMP requirements.

Environment, Health, and Safety (EHS) :

- Ensure proper staffing and adherence to EHS guidelines.

- Comply with EHS policies and procedures.

Financial Performance :

- Achieve or exceed operational revenue and EBITDA targets.

- Manage expenses within the operational budget.

- Lead continuous improvement projects to enhance profitability while maintaining Quality and EHS compliance.

Document Review and Approval :

- Review and approve documents, SOPs, and work instructions.

- Ensure documentation complies with ALCOA++ standards.

Working Capital Management :

- Efficiently manage inventory and cash cycles.

- Optimize working capital and ensure consistent production values.

Qualifications :

- 15-25 years of progressive experience, with at least 5 years in a leadership role at a sterile site.

- Experience in drug substance preferred.

- Strong track record in site operations, quality compliance, and financial management.
