Our client, a respected multi-business organization, has established a captive Shared Services Organization covering financial and other functions across its various sectors.

The appointed leader will be responsible for strategizing, planning, establishing, managing, and expanding the shared services organization, focusing on key areas such as:

Strategy and Planning:

- Developing a comprehensive understanding of the strategic direction and facilitating a smooth transition. Creating a clear roadmap with achievable milestones.

People Development and Organization Building:

- Identifying talent requirements aligned with business objectives. Building the executive leadership team and assembling subject matter experts and operational/support teams. Cultivating a cohesive, skilled workforce through targeted training initiatives.

Technology Integration:

- Implementing purpose-built technologies to enhance efficiency, resource optimization, and scalability. Embracing emerging technologies to drive innovation and maximize technology investments.

Stakeholder Engagement:

- Engaging internal customers to ensure alignment and manage expectations. Cultivating a culture of open communication and collaboration to facilitate successful transitions. Providing regular updates on progress, benefits, and timelines.

Leadership Excellence:

- Driving organizational change through effective leadership. Influencing stakeholders and motivating the shared services team toward operational excellence and delivering business benefits. Combining strategic vision with operational pragmatism, resilience, and approachability.

Desired Qualifications/Experience:

- Proven experience in establishing or expanding captive shared service organizations across multiple sectors and functions.

- Demonstrated ability in hiring, training, and managing large teams.

Qualifications:

- CA, MBA from reputable institutions.

- Around 25 years of post-qualification experience.

- Proficiency in SAP ERP.

- Project management certifications.

- Familiarity with shared services tools.
