Education: B.Sc - Wine Technology / M.Sc-Food Technology / PG Diploma - Food Technology / B. Tech (Food Technology) / PG Diploma in Wine Technology / P.G. Diploma in Fermentation, Distillery & Wine Technology.
Trainings: TQM, Internal Auditor, ISO 9000, ISO 22000, ISO 14001, Food Safety, HACCP.
Industry: Wine / Beer / Liquor
Functional Area: Quality Assurance
Desired candidate profile:
1. Must have knowledge & experience in Hazard analysis and critical control points (HACCP), as well as Good Manufacturing Practice (GMP), Good Laboratory Practice (GLP), Good Hygienic Practice (GHP).
2. Knowledge of implementation of various Quality and Food safety standards for improving operations along with cost savings.
3. Well versed with Documentation & Implementation of quality system like ISO 22000, ISO 18001, ISO 14001.
Primary Responsibilities-
1. Ensure the Micro Biological Water Analysis for all Winery and Microbial Analysis of In-process finished goods sample.
2. To ensure that overall cleanliness and hygiene standards comply with set procedures /standards of Fratelli Wines.
3. Ensuring Inspection of incoming Raw materials (RM), Packaging materials (PM), In-process material and finished product at appropriate stages in accordance with Inspection Standards. So as to ensure that the end product meets the specified parameters.
4. Responsible for online QA checks monitoring, RM /PM analysis, Finished Goods analysis and release, conducting of Audits, Verifying FSSAI compliance, facing external audits, closing audit Non Conformances (NC- s) and CAPA (Corrective Action and preventive Action) etc.
5. Dealing with customer complaints & root cause analysis for customer satisfaction through implementing quality standards in the processes. Ensure all customer complaints are attended and resolved timely.
6. Ensure QC and Processes are conforming to Fratelli Wines standards prior to bottling.
7. Ensure bottles are stored as per the QC standards (Raw material as well as finish goods).
8. Coordinating closely with Tank Hall, Labeling and Dispatch department to ensure QC and processes are conforming to set standards.
9. Develop finished goods & raw material specifications as per global regulatory and local regulatory compliance.
Secondary Responsibilities-
1. Setting up and maintaining controls and documentation.
2. Ensuring tests and procedures are properly understood, carried out and evaluated and that product modifications are investigated if necessary.
3. Conducting weekly review, training arrangements, finding root causes and taking the corrective and preventive actions.
4. Implementing strict measures in operating procedures, work instructions, flow charts, attention sheets etc to optimize resource / capacity utilization.
5. Assessing the training needs of the various employees in co-ordination with the various department heads in the respective departments.
