Job profile:
Physical trading of base metals, customer facing side of the value chain - building customer base & establishing a sustainable market
- Run the trading book on Base metals with P&L responsibility, and achieve targets in terms of turnover and margin.
- Identify & build customer base in the base metals segment Follow and understand risk managementsystems and contribute to further improve them.
- Arrange shipping, logistics, quality control,contracts, documentation with relation to international trade
- Monitor with a view to develop marketing strategy, market trends of key drivers and providing market intelligence
- Develop Strategies to increase value and satisfaction for the customers.
- Identify targets for making strategic investments for sustainable business.
- Should have trading experience of at least 3-5 years in dry bulk minerals trading (Ferro Alloys/Base metals)
- Having good interpersonal relationship with Industry.
- Must have good communication and inter-personal skills.
- Self-motivated and should be able to initiate business leads
- Must have good knowledge of International Sources of Base metals in all varieties. Expected to have updated knowledge of key clients in India in this Industry, especially in the Western and Southern sector.
