Head - Security Oversight
Responsibilities:
- Build strong security specialist governance capabilities that oversee the technical implementation and execution of information and cyber security compliance across the company group.
- Develop and support information and cyber security risk reports and consolidate cross functional data points to support reporting and metrics to senior leadership, audit and assurance teams.
- Support the development of cyber and information security controls/requirements and controls and automated control testing.
- Providing technology & security based services incorporating strategy, design, development, delivery and maintenance of technological solutions to meet business needs
- Managing people and building talent and capabilities to deliver on security delivery and risk reduction outcomes.
- The incumbent will be accountable for continuous risk reduction across the company's group for the relevant risk themes.
Key Accountabilities:
- Promote and improve the maturity of the data security capability and drive improved risk reduction across the company's group
- Security thought leader and encourage and support the assessment and use of emerging security practices
- Define, influence and support data security capabilities to enable user centric outcomes
- Influences and implements solutions to support standardised patterns and drive adoption of the solutions
- Accountable for improved ROI & optimisations of products and toolsets whilst ensuring consistent security outcomes are achieved
- Drives a global approach to delivering change and utilises cross functional teams to support and maintain solutions

Experience:
- Experience in different domains of information and deep understanding of cyber security
- Experience in leading large teams
- A career that includes both operational and technical management of capabilities and risk reduction across multiple teams.
- Tertiary qualification in a Technology discipline or related field
- CISM, CISSP, IAPP certifications advantageous
- Relevant Financial Services Industry experience advantageous
Mandatory Requirements:
- Strong leadership ability with focus on cross cultural teams
- Detailed orientated
- Experience in security governance
- Experience in leading large teams, including influencing and developing global teams
- Ability to deal with complex problems
- Strong reporting writing abilities
