As the Head of Sector & Product Development, you will be responsible for defining the strategic direction of our Sector & Product portfolio. You will need to collaborate with the Business Stakeholders - Leadership, Operations & Solution Design to develop new offerings within the Sectoral and Product mix in order to support growth.
- Develop overall Product Roadmap & Strategy along with BD & India Regional Leadership
- Create plans to achieve 2025 Product & Sector aspirations for the India Business
- Support and Drive Business Development & Customer Development colleagues to develop pipeline in the new Sub Sectors & Products to meet the 2025 aspirations
- Support BD & CD colleagues in large Opportunities & Customer Pursuits in select subsectors and Products
- Collaborate with Marketing for overall Product Positioning and Communication
- Develop new product offerings in line with the Product Roadmap & Strategy incl. but not restricted to EV Logistics / In Plant Logistics / Data Centers / Semiconductors / LLP / Packaging etc.
- Define the New offering requirement based on current white space, Country Leadership / APAC/ Global vision
- Create Roadmap for new product offering
- Collaborate with Solution Design & Operations to create the offering and design Governance structure for the same
- Create Product Performance Management Structures to improve Key metrics & Profitability for our new Offerings
- Develop and Deploy KPI's and scorecards to capture New Product / Sub Sector performance
- Identify key projects and interventions during new product development & define deliverables
- Execute these projects in collaboration with relevant functions to achieve defined deliverables
- Identify Service enhancements for existing portfolio and lead execution in capacity & capability enhancements
- Consulting or Product Development Experience in a 3PL / Contract Logistics Organization or a Tech Driven Logistics Startup Organization with an understanding of the trends and business drivers of Contract Logistics Business
- Ability to work in ambiguous situation and with multiple internal stakeholders to drive the growth of the product
- Ability to flourish with minimal guidance, be proactive, and handle uncertainty
- Strong communication and negotiation skills, with the ability to conduct convincing presentations and influence decisions
- Listens attentively, and summarizes or asks questions, when needed, to clarify information
- Ability to build rapport with clients, Internal stakeholders and handle multiple initiatives at a time
- Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work well in cross-functional teams
- Exposure to analytics and data summarization
- Proficient in Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
