Head of SEO


The role :

We are looking for a Head of SEO who will be responsible for growing our SEO revenue & traffic as we experience explosive growth and scale. Success in this role looks like :

- 8+ years' experience in a similar role, preferably working on a B2C business

- Set and articulate a clear SEO vision for the team, inspiring people toward a unified destination while driving the SEO roadmap.

- Define growth targets and establish the strategy for consumer facing experiences, content, technical SEO and link building

- Own SEO and drive revenue & profitability for Organic Search

- Deeply understand the latest trends in SEO and updates from Google, champion those trends and needed changes at Company.

- Complete responsibility for the technical and content-based SEO roadmap for the quarter and year and execute it efficiently with the help of Content, Engineering, and Product teams.

- Troubleshoot complex site issues by working with the Engineering team.

- Conduct SEO experiments using rigorous approaches and measurement methods (A/B tests, statistical methods) and prove their effectiveness.

- Identify strategic opportunities and prioritize them against other tactical actions to achieve a balance between short-term and long-term performance.

Experience required :

About you :

- A SEO Leader. You've spent 6+ years scaling SEO revenue in high growth companies. You are outcome focused and know that good strategy, ruthless prioritization and alignment is key to that. You deeply appreciate and understand the craft and are passionate about evangelizing that across the organization.

- A Tech People Person: You've spent 5 years managing SEO tech of large scale consumer businesses and understand the tech stack, daily execution, & strategies to bring retention engine to life.

- A People Leader. You've spent 3+ years managing or mentoring people of all levels and understand how to coach, and mentor people directly and indirectly. You are passionate and truly understand people, their motivations and how to make them succeed.

- Excellent collaborator and communicator. You bring people on the journey and can articulate even complex concepts to different audiences. You can balance between getting feedback and being able to push back and say no when necessary.

- Strong commercial and analytical lens. You excel with understanding what makes a business successful, and can effectively use data (qualitative and quantitative) to make decisions.

- A bias for action. You quickly turn discussions into action to move the work forward. You are proactive and able to quickly synthesize data and insights to make sound product decisions.
