Role: SEM Head
Reporting To: Head of Performance Media
Location: Gurgaon
Deliverables:
This role is responsible for running the Search Engine Marketing (SEM) practice
This practice will run large SEM campaigns for some of our large global clients. This role reports to the head of performance media and works along with global SEM strategists to deliver these campaigns in terms of strategy and execution.
Specific role deliverables -
- Solid understanding of performance marketing, PPC and online customer acquisition
- Managing marketing campaigns on major Search Engines platforms including Google Adwords and Microsoft Bing Ad Center. Exposure to regional search engines like Baidu, Yandex etc. will be useful
- Experience with Search Bid automation tools like Kenshoo, Dart Search and Marin
- Run a team of search specialists that manage the campaigns on a day to day basis
- Team management and leadership including building capability in newer techniques and technologies, building & defining delivery processes, SLA adherence and continuously refining the SEM marketing capability
- Manage the customer interface by working closely with account programmatic, search leads
- Collect and analyze data, identify trends and insights to maximize ROI by keeping a track on all KPI's and budgets
- Participate in internal projects as required
Experiences :
This role would have the following experiences :
- Graduate/MBA or equivalent
- 7+ years of SEM experience primarily in performance advertising i.e. SEM ideally for e-commerce or other performance advertisers
Skills :
- This role would need to exhibit the following skills in line of work :
- Outstanding client handling and communication skills, written skills are critical
- Analytical and quantitative skills are critical
- Significant exposure in managing global SEM campaigns in the travel category will be a huge plus
