Head - School/Founding Principal - International K-12 Startup School

We have an exciting opportunity for an international K-12 start-up school that delivers joyful, holistic, child centric and experiential learning across more than 50 preschools in India under the two premium brands. The group is now extending this philosophy through the setup of a chain of quality K-12 schools in Pune, Mumbai & Bangalore.

Job Responsibilities:

Leadership: to evolve the vision of the school together with the group and to provide inspirational leadership to help each and every child unleash their great potential.

Organization Development: to help attract, develop and retain teams of teachers and staff in the school who enthusiastically work together in a spirit of collaboration and professionalism supported by sound values.

Academic excellence: to understand and contribute to our philosophy, curriculum framework and academic approach and ensure its quality implementation in the classroom and beyond.

Beacon of excellence: to build a reputation for the school as a centre for excellence, innovation and a journey of continuous improvement in quality.

Financial Responsibility: to ensure optimum use of funds throughout the academic year according to mutually developed budgets and financial targets.

Enrolments: to attract and help ensure admissions in the schools in line on mutually defined expectations.

Administration and infrastructure support: manage, evaluate and supervise effective and clear policies and procedures for the operation and functioning of the school to ensure that children are safe and secure at all times, operations are effective and efficient and all laws, board policies and civil regulations are followed.

Desired Skills, Experience and Qualifications:

Respect for children, a passion for educational change, a solid grounding in best-practices in education, an obsession for quality, strong administrative and communication skills rooted in clear work ethics are pre-requisite for the role.
