Job description
We have been retained by a leading Edu-Tech organisation. They plan to open their operations in India.
To start their Indian operations they are looking to hire a Sales Head, who needs to have the following credentials and will perform the mentioned responsibilities :
Education :
Bachelor's degree in business administration, Sales, or a related field (master's degree preferred).
Experience :
- At least 10+ years experience in partnership development or business development roles from Edu-Tech organisations handling University Partnership
- The incumbent needs to have strong networking and relationship-building skills, with the ability to engage with decision-makers.
- Experience in working with an Edtech/ Test Prep company is mandatory along with building partnerships and joint programs with universities
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Roles & Responsibilities:
- The incumbent would be responsible for leading business development activity and building and maintaining trust-based relationships with both our universities across India.
- This role will be responsible for meeting/exceeding metrics and sales targets, performing at a high level, and consistently driving revenue by growing existing and new university partner segments.
- You would devise and implement a business development strategy which strengthens organisations position as a leader and expands our reach in the Indian market.
- Cultivating professional relationships with clients and providing proactive communication of progress to leadership.
- Strengthening relationships with university stakeholders to generate sales inquiries and identify opportunities for academic partnerships
- Assisting in negotiating contractual agreements and renewals as necessary will be a part of the portfolio.
