Position: Head - Travel

Job Location: Cochin, Kerala

Role:

The position is a leadership role in managing the travel division; i.e. the Corporate Travel Division, Holidays Division and DMC Dubai Division both from P&L and Brand perspective. The role is expected to develop the business plan matching the goals of the current organisation and manage, build and guide the team to reach the business plan target.

Key Objective:

- Primary objective is to maintain the year on year revenue growth percentage.

- Introduce and develop new product and services compared to the current service offered.

- Implement new distribution channels, platforms and strategy.

Job Description:

- Constantly motivating the sales and operations team to achieve their targets and ensure the organisations profitability;

- Meeting regularly with team leaders to give them sales figures and plan the execution;

- Meeting the promoters who advise on strategy and identify any local issues and future trends;

- Overseeing the recruitment, selection and retention of staff as well as payroll matters and staff training;

- Communicating with staff and providing motivation, help and advice;

- Dealing with disciplinary matters and customer complaints.

Desired Profile:

- The ideal profile would be a professional with hands-on experience in man-management and operations with a Travel Management Company / Online Portal / Dotcom Company of decent size.

- Should be an MBA with exposure to driving business of decent size.

- A good communicator, motivator and excellent goal orientation.

- Experience: 10 - 15 years
