The incumbent would be responsible for heading the Distribution Channel, Institutional Sales and Exports for the Solar business unit of the company. Wide range of products like - Solar panel, Inverters, Solar water Pumps, Solar Lamp etc.:
Business Development
- Responsible to develop and execute channel / distribution sales plan to achieve annual sales objective with respect to top & bottom line.
- Building distribution network with reliable dealers & stockiest; appointing them in unrepresented or non-performing areas.
- Develop infrastructure for new channels and optimizing their performance levels. Conduct market research to map future prospect of products Maximizing secondary sales network to generate primary sales.
- Liasoning with dealers & distributors Settlement of warranty claims both qualitatively and commercially.
- Develop & maintain productive business relationship with key decision makers across Channel Partners.
- Prepare marketing plans to capture new countries.
- Active Participation in International Solar Power Industry Exhibitions & Trade Fairs in SAARC & African countries. Submitting the tenders of Solar Projects to achieve pre-set targets.
- Planning of inventory by coordinating with the logistic team & collection of outstanding from different channel partners.
- Design, coordinate and implement sales promotional activities, schemes, analyzing market trends, competitions.
Team Management
- To Train, develop and mentor the cross functional team by setting higher expectations and initiating individual member accountability.
- Evaluate performance of sales & marketing teams against the set targets through promotion planning and providing valuable feedback for improvement.
