Job Description:
We are seeking a dynamic and goal-oriented Sales Head to lead our software sales team in the North region. As the Sales Head, you will be responsible for driving sales growth, achieving revenue targets, and building strong relationships with customers. You will play a pivotal role in expanding our software business in the North region. The ideal candidate should have a proven track record in software sales, exceptional leadership skills, and a deep understanding of the software sales process.
Responsibilities:
- Develop and execute sales strategies and plans to achieve sales targets for software products and services in the North region.
- Lead and manage a high-performing sales team, providing coaching, mentoring, and performance evaluations to ensure individual and team success.
- Set ambitious sales targets for the team and closely monitor progress, providing guidance and support to overcome challenges and meet objectives.
- Identify and capitalize on new business opportunities, including new market segments and target customers, to expand the customer base and increase revenue.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and strategic partners, understanding their needs, addressing their concerns, and ensuring high customer satisfaction.
- Collaborate closely with the marketing team to develop and implement effective sales campaigns, promotional activities, and lead generation strategies.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, competitor activities, and market dynamics to adapt sales strategies and positioning accordingly.
- Analyze sales data, prepare regular reports, and present findings to senior management, highlighting sales performance, market trends, and potential growth areas.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement, encouraging innovative sales techniques, adopting best practices, and staying updated on the latest software industry developments.
- Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and client meetings, leveraging these opportunities to build brand awareness and establish strong business relationships.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, or a related field. A master's degree is a plus.
- Proven track record of success in software sales, with a minimum of 2 years of experience in a leadership or managerial role.
- Excellent knowledge of the software industry, including software solutions, market trends, and competitor landscape.
- Strong leadership and team management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a sales team to achieve and exceed targets.
- Exceptional communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to build rapport and influence key stakeholders.
- Strategic thinking and analytical mindset, with the ability to interpret sales data, identify trends, and make data-driven decisions.
- Proven ability to develop and execute successful sales strategies and achieve revenue growth in a competitive market.
- Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, target-driven sales environment.
