Client has expanded into the Tier-II and Tier-III markets with a new product called PUBLIC APP. This app is a location-based vernacular short-form news network that allows journalists to record and share happenings around them enabling real-time local updates. Public has become the number 1 app on the play store in the news category, registering a whopping 70 million monthly users.
Responsibilities:
- The candidate will primarily be responsible for establishing the brand, opening new Ad Sales opportunities across India and generating new businesses from Government sector/ PSUs
- Handling and monitoring submission of bids/ proposals
- Negotiate and pitch specifications and value proposition in pre- bid meetings
- Liaising with central and state government entities, local bodies, municipal corporations, agencies, etc
- Successfully forecast and drive achievement of revenue streams
- Ensuring a healthy funnel for the business at any point in time.
- Identify, develop, pitch and execute new business development initiatives
- The candidate is expected to have a good understanding of policies and key drivers for the government
- Monitor & review the team on a daily basis
- You would be required to travel on an occasional basis depending on the work requirements
Requirements:
- Total 10+ years experience with minimum of 3 years experience in a digital platform with a track record of successfully managing client relations, negotiating and closing deal
- Excellent contact with carious Govt Sector/PSU bodies and boards
- Should have handled the Ad Sales for Govt Sector for atleast 3+ years at a national level
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to coordinate and drive results through government officials
- Ability to operate in a fast-paced and dynamic market environment.
