Our client is a market leader in its segment. It is seeking an experienced senior resource in sales for their Machine-to-Machine (M2M) technology business.
- The selected resource will lead their sales function country-wide.
- The position is based out of Pune and reports to CEO.
- Candidates from Process Automation sector or from IT sector with experience in selling Big Data solutions will be preferred.
Preferred background/experience:
Must have:
- 9 to 15 years of hard core solution selling experience to industry – with familiarity of process automation market.
- Hands on experience in concept selling at CX levels
- Basic exposure to plant instrumentation and control systems, communication protocols, MES solutions.
- Domain knowledge in energy, power generation, process industries, performance contracting, industrial plants and utilities.
- 4 + years experience of dealing with Mechanical OEM (process/utility equipment manufacturers)
Preferred:
- Exposure to application of software packages for control & automation such as DCS, BMS, MES, CMM, EAM
- Proven track record for successful deployment of a Go-To-Market strategy.
- Excellent networking abilities in the external customer market place.
Key Responsibilities:
- Generate enquiries in target segments; interact with customers, understand their needs and conceptualize appropriate solution to address their pain/gain areas.
- Manage a team focused around the target segment for technical and commercial offers and close deals.
- Interact with engineering and execution teams for order transmittals.
- Manage long term customer relationship through continuous interaction till project closure to pave way for future orders
- Build up and grow the sales with focus on revenues and profitability.
