Head - Sales Planning (Steel sector)
Location- Kolkata
Experience- 10 to 15 years
Must Have: Experience in Sales planning in DIP/Steel
Skills and Capabilities :
I. Technical Knowledge of Induction Furnace Operations
II. Metallurgical Knowledge on DI
III. Knowledge of Process Flow of DI Pipe preferred.
Key Objective / Overall Job Responsibility:
1. Lead the Sales Planning Department
2. Ensure achievement of revenue targets, operating sales plans, annual business plans for Domestic and Export Business of DI Pipes
3. Optimization in planning process through proper distribution month wise to achieve the NR target
4. Long term production Sales planning to ensure 100% plus capacity utilization.
5. Order Book Maintenance, Analysis to provide inputs in the type of orders to be booked.
6. Management of Inspection, Factory Assessments for Product and Plant Approvals.
7. Management of Sales Contracts with regards to Delivery Periods, Scanning and providing inputs which all products being offered with proper lead time to negotiate well.
8. Data Management with regards to Monthly, Quarterly Production and Sales and Analysis of the same for improvement of planning.
9. Compliance Management with regards to Monthly and Yearly with regards to ABP, OSP and Customer Requirement.
10. Feedback Management from Key, Probable Key Customer and other Key Supplies and deriving the improvement cycle and implementing the same. CSAT Score increase and analysis.
11. MIS, for Management on regular Intervals on the Sales, Order health of Company during the review on Sales and BPM.
12. Implementation of Digital Initiatives within the department and driving them for stabilization. Drive improvement initiatives through his team.
13. Lead Performance Reviews, Coaching, mentoring of people reporting directly or indirectly in the course of business.
Major Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Finalization of the Annual Sales Plan and Its Distribution aligned to production plan and Customer Commitments
- Finalization of Monthly Sales Plans aligned to production, Customer Commitment and Funds Availability
- Ensure Smooth Sales through continuous interactions to stakeholders to get Customer Clearances and Inspection Clearances.
- Manage Monthly FG stock Levels and Reduce the Unmoving Stocks to minimum.
- Finalization 3 months running sales plan in order to do advance planning of RM, Logistics, funds and Clearances.
- Lead all improvement initiatives in his area of work.
