Position Summary:
We are looking for an experienced individual with excellent Sales background who is familiar with the pharmaceutical outsourcing industry (Specifically CMO/CDMO).
Key Responsibilities:
- Acquiring new business opportunities with the leading pharmaceutical formulation companies in India for CMO/CDMO Services.
- Develop and maintain sales operating plans that include opportunity map, target accounts, forecast, sales strategies and tactics, resource requirements and strategic commercial plan.
- Ensures that sales plan is consistent with overall business goals and sales pipeline is filled with opportunities at various stages of sales cycle.
- Regularly review forecast, pipeline and sales strategies with management. Ensure that opportunities and leads are pursued in a timely way.
Desired Profile:
- Minimum bachelor's degree in a related field, such as Pharmaceuticals, Biotechnology, Chemistry or Biology.
- Should have 16 to 18+ years of experience in Sales & Business Development with a Pharmaceutical / CMO/CDMO /Biotech industry.
- Should have worked at a Senior to Leadership level in Business Development and handled Strategic business Alliances with leading Pharmaceutical Formulations/API companies within India sub-continent.
- Handled minimum of 200 crores+ Portfolio business.
- Strong acumen in Sales & business development.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
- Interpersonal relation and networking skills.
- Good knowledge and understanding of CMO/CDMO Services.
