Job Description :
- Instrumental role in managing the P&L for the OTC business for well established global pharmaceutical company as a Head of Sales & Marketing for their OTC Business division, operating from Mumbai office.
Client Details :
- The company is a fully integrated, research-oriented pharma company engaged in the manufacturing and marketing of formulations (finished dosage forms) and Active Pharmaceutical Ingredients (API) and Over-the-counter (OTC) products
- It has 07 decades of presence in the Indian Pharma Market with a turnover of ~2000 Cr and operates in 50+ countries
Description :
- Will be instrumental in conceptualising the Pharma OTC business and Brands for the new OTC Pharma Division.
- Accountable for budgeting, business planning, sales force organization.
- Develop and implement Annual Operating Plan for brand portfolio.
- Conduct research as per the brand need (analyse customer behaviour, perception- attribute mapping, etc.) and design strategies accordingly.
- Undertake feasibility analysis/ market research for new opportunities.
- Developing and implementing Digital communication strategies and campaigns for the OTC brands.
- Developing and implementing Marketing strategies for the OTC Pharma brands and communication to Sales Teams.
- Undertake fieldwork to capture insights.
- Effectively collaborate with sales team and cross functional stakeholders for buy-in of strategies to internal customers and ensure strong implementation of designed strategies.
- Effectively coordinate with other functional areas within organization e.g. Medical, Training, Regulatory, Supply Chain, Finance etc
Profile :
- Intrapreneurship skills to drive newly created business
- Good understanding of best practices and trends in OTC Pharma.
- Proven ability to interact and develop relationships with senior CXO level officials and Sales Business Heads.
- Is able to challenge the status quo, think out of the box and come up with new & feasible solutions.
- Multi-tasking, Networking and Influencing skills
- A perpetual 'can-do' spirit and a positive attitude.
- Excellent Business and commercial acumen, with high integrity and commitment to organizational values.
