Role Purpose: The Head - Sales & Operations will be responsible for the successful operation of all of the Company's exclusive brand outlets, shop-in-shops, multi brand outlets, wholesale business and eCommerce business
Key Accountabilities:
- Create a culture of accountability by ensuring that operational metrics are achieved, budgeted expenses are attained, and standard operating procedures are consistently followed. Responsible for sales and achieving business goals and objectives.
- Maximize profitability across all sales points, analyze sales and anticipate sales trends, coordinate sales plans, pricing, inventory distribution and staffing. Work with teams responsible for inventory assortment and planning, visual merchandising, supply chain, and marketing to develop action plans to support the Company's sales and merchandise strategy.
- Negotiate terms of sales with major wholesale and MBO clients, as well as franchise owners that will maximize the organization's business interests.
- Direct the Operation Managers in the development and implementation of training programs for retail store staff, addressing product knowledge, sales skills, customer service, and local regulations
- Establish strategic long and short term alliances with wholesale partners and MBO partners
- Visits to stores include assessment of the following areas: visual merchandising, personnel, sales and customer service, environmental commitment, stock room, operations, store maintenance.
Person Profile:
Competencies/Knowledge:
Education Background: Graduation/Post Graduation
- Any other job related skills required.
Years of experience: 13-15 years
Industry Exposure: Retail or mix of Retail with FMCG/White Goods
Type of Experience :
- Essential Exposure to Fashion, Senior level retail management, leading large teams/scale, Sales & Marketing
- Desirable Excellent communication, understanding of retail concepts, terminology.
