OPERATIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES

- Ensure implement standard operating procedures to improve the process & performance.

- Responsible for planning and development of the marketing plan and promotional strategies for increase the sales and revenue.

- Ensure effective implementation of the sales and marketing plan.

- Ensure the sales and marketing team reports the effectiveness of the marketing and sales plan.

- Ensure the implementation of the action plan to achieve the objectives of the revenue generation.

- Develop and achieve the annual revenue plan, Marketing Budget and forecasts.

- Ensure extend a professional support service to the General Manager to achieve the maximum revenue.

- Identify the right methods to increase business volume.

- Ensure proper implementation of organization strategy for advertising, sales promotion, personal selling, publicity, community relations, special sales projects, etc.

- Implement special programs for increase average room rate, overall occupancy, business volume during off-peak periods, local Food & Beverage and Banquet Sales.

- Ensure periodic reviews conducted for all the Sales and Marketing personnel to ensure targets and Sales objectives are achieved.

- Conduct Market research and develop new marketing strategies and new products and services to achieve the maximum revenue according to the recommendations from the market research .

- Ensure review all the Public Relation activities to ensure high awareness of the hotel in the national and international media.

- Promote Food & Beverage Department special projects to stimulate Food & beverage sales.

- Review all the internal promotion and ensure these are as per the brand standards.

- Interacts and communicate with Government Tourist offices, local Hotel Associations, Convention Bureaus, Airlines, Travel Agents, Tour Operators, competitors and other members of the local community .

- Scrutinize and analysis the potential markets through review Sales and Front Office correspondence, guest questionnaires, government statistics on visitors, competition's sales/promotion efforts, various reference and industry publications for sales leads

- Recommend the advertising plan which will be most productive for the hotel after analyze the market effectiveness of past advertising campaigns and consulting with other Department Heads and the Advertising Agency.

- Analyze and monitor the variations from the budget and take necessary corrective actions

- Prepare and mange a cost effective budget with measurable targets for department .
