Head Sales & Marketing (Bulk Chemicals)

- Develop and implement sales strategies to achieve revenue and P&L target.

- Identify and develop new business opportunities in the assigned territories and market.

- Manage existing customer relationships and develop new ones.

- Prepare and deliver sales presentations to customers.

- Develop and maintain a strong understanding of market trends, customer needs, and competitor activities.

- Provide regular reports on sales activities and progress towards targets.

- Manage the profit centre and ensure profitability of the business.

- Work closely with the operations team to ensure timely delivery of products to customers.

- Collaborate with the marketing team to develop effective marketing strategies.

- Travel to meet potential and em-panelled clients for developing better connect.

- Ability to prepare Annual, 3 year and 5 year business plan.

- Responsible for achieving the team targets as per the agreed timeline along with responsibility for credit management and collection targets.

- Develop the team to achieve the higher growth and leadership in the market.

- Focus on new business development activities of corporate/ large accounts and deliver the results as per the agreed timeline.

- Customer Trouble shooting

- Understand in-depth customer requirements and work closely with the Tech Centre Team to develop product specs which meet these requirements.

- Evaluate market competition, analyze competitor's offerings, pricing strategies etc.

- Evolve a robust Marketing Strategy to maintain the market leadership and for successfully rolling out of new products in stipulated timeline with co-ordination with tech center.

- You will be responsible for identifying and developing new business projects with existing or new customers as well as driving current sales and business growth with existing customers in the Co's Product segment.

- This role is responsible for implementing the Domestic & International Sales Plan and Strategy and is accountable for the commercial results: volume, price, development, contribution margin and marketing in addition to implementing the development pipeline and sales activities.

- Appraise Company Management on the progress and milestones achieved through MIS.

Qualification And Experience :

1. BE & MBA with 15+ years of sales experience in the Bulk Chemical industry, with a proven track record of achieving sales targets & Experience in Chemical Distribution Setup

2. Extensive knowledge of specialty and semi-specialty chemicals, with experience in the bulk chemicals, paint & coatings, rubber chemicals etc.

3. Tactical capabilities to adapt locally to a global strategy (smart and wise)

4. Relevant commodities background

5. Strong sales and contract negotiation skills

6. Strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills

7. Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build and maintain relationships with customers.

8. Strong analytical skills and the ability to interpret market trends and customer needs.

9. Self-driven and motivated with a proven ability to work independently.

10. Willingness to travel within the assigned territories & overseas.
