Head - Sales & Live Events


Key Responsibilities:

Sales Strategy and Leadership:

- Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve revenue targets and business growth.

- Lead, mentor, and manage the sales team, ensuring alignment with company objectives.

- Identify new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand the company's footprint.

- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients, partners, and stakeholders.

Live Events Management:

- Oversee the planning, execution, and management of live events hosted at cinema venues.

- Collaborate with internal teams (marketing, operations, etc.) to ensure seamless event delivery.

- Source and negotiate with vendors, performers, and partners to ensure high-quality event production.

- Monitor and analyze event performance, providing insights and recommendations for future improvements.

Budgeting and Financial Management:

- Develop and manage the sales and events budget, ensuring cost efficiency and profitability.

- Track and report on sales performance, revenue forecasts, and event financials.

- Implement strategies to maximize revenue and minimize costs for live events.

Marketing and Promotion:

- Work closely with the marketing team to create and execute promotional campaigns for live events.

- Utilize market research and audience insights to tailor event offerings and marketing strategies.

- Ensure the brand is effectively represented across all sales and event activities.

Team Development:

- Recruit, train, and develop a high-performing sales and events team.

- Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture, encouraging professional growth and development.

- Set performance goals and conduct regular evaluations to ensure team success.

Compliance and Safety:

- Ensure all live events comply with relevant regulations, safety standards, and company policies.

- Coordinate with legal and compliance teams to manage contracts, permits, and licenses.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Event Management, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

- 10+ years of experience in sales, business development, and event management, preferably within the entertainment or hospitality industry.

- Proven track record of achieving sales targets and driving revenue growth.

- Strong leadership and team management skills, with experience leading cross-functional teams.

- Excellent negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.

- Creative thinker with the ability to develop innovative event concepts and strategies.

- Strong financial acumen and experience managing budgets.

- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

- Knowledge of the cinema industry and live event production is highly desirable.
