Sales Head (IT Staffing)
- To manage the Staffing Sales for "National" VMS Accounts in terms of coverage over diverse locations and deeper penetration into the accounts in terms of Sales.
- The task would involve pushing candidates for interviews and thereafter closure, following up on submissions and ensuring that the Delivery is kept informed and in sync.
- Acquiring new business in the existing national VMS accounts and driving the staffing business in diverse client locations through a team of Sales executives.
- Drive day to day recruiting to ensure quality and timely submission and high requirement fulfillment, with the objective of meeting monthly placement and gross margin targets, and to excel in clients' report card expectation.

- Scope
Core Responsibilities:
A. National VMS Account Management:
I. Develop strategy for business development on National VMS Accounts.
- Possess and develop intimate knowledge of Account specific staffing processes in terms of legal imperatives, processes and locations.
- Develop new business and staffing requirements from diverse locations on VMS Accounts.
- Set in place an Onsite - Offshore delivery model to ensure seamless client servicing.
- Penetrate accounts to increase coverage.
- Put in place relations (where applicable and allowed) to obtain feedback to expedite the process.
- Ensure National coverage in all locations for VMS Accounts.
- Increase requirement flow from clients.
II. Develop strategy for delivery to clients.
- Work closely with Delivery Managers to fine tune recruiting practice and strategies for acquired accounts to drive placement numbers.
- Optimize and streamline the recruiting and selection process in the assigned team, including resume screening and phone interview for clients.
- Strategize with Delivery Managers to accomplish daily/weekly/monthly targets.
III. Assign requirements and approve candidates for VMS accounts:
- Manage and prioritize a high volume of requisitions workload, and delegate requirements to Deliver Managers for client wins.
IV. Keep track and monitor the progress of all team requirements for clients:
- De-brief Delivery Managers on client feedback on a weekly basis.
- Daily check on Dashboard on submittal metrics and provide guidance to Delivery Managers.
- Review progress of requirements at the end of the day with Delivery Managers and agree on action plan.
- Communicate with Delivery Manager for specific requirements/submittals/bottlenecks, and decide solutions.
- Provide direction and advice to team recruiters on strategies and tools for hard-to-fill positions.
- Keep track on requirement turnaround time, discuss with Delivery Manager on strategy to reduce the time and ensure team target is met.
- Keep up to date with current employment legislation and ensure that team recruiters and Account Managers/Service Delivery Managers are effectively briefed on any relevant changes.
B. Team organization and management:
- Set performance expectation for the VMS Sales team.
- Review Offshore performance with Delivery Manager on a regular basis and discuss the strategy to help low performing recruiters to improve.
- Reinforce the importance and provide coaching to the Offshore team on Country specific staffing norms etc that would help in building a talent pipeline.
C. Staff:
- This position will be supported by a group of Sales Executives, Delivery Managers, Sr. recruiters and Recruiters. Actual number of direct reports depends on the size of the accounts.
Qualification And Experience:
1. At least 15 years' experience in US Staffing & Recruitment industry as Sales Head
2. Extensive experience on Direct/MSP/Implementation partners
3. Extensively involved in New Business Development, Client Acquisition
4. Ability to communicate, present and influence all levels of the organization, including executive and C-level.
5. Proven ability to drive the sales process from plan to close.
6. Proven ability to articulate the distinct aspects of Staffing services.
7. Proven ability to position Co's Staffing Services against competitors.
8. Demonstrable experience as head of sales, developing client-focused, differentiated, and achievable solutions.
9. Excellent listening, negotiation, and presentation skills.
10. Excellent verbal and written communications skills.
11. Excellent team and client management skills.
