We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Sales Head to lead our sales team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in software services, SaaS products, data, and IoT sales, with experience in IT services or product companies. This role requires a strategic thinker with excellent leadership skills to drive sales growth and achieve business objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
Sales Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and implement effective sales strategies to drive business growth.
- Identify and target new market opportunities to expand the customer base.
- Set sales targets, KPIs, and objectives for the sales team.
Team Leadership and Management:
- Lead, mentor, and motivate the sales team to achieve individual and team targets.
- Conduct regular performance reviews and provide coaching to team members.
- Foster a culture of high performance, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Client Relationship Management:
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key clients and stakeholders.
- Understand client needs and provide tailored solutions to meet their requirements.
- Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction and address any client concerns promptly.
Business Development:
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities in software services, SaaS products, data, and IoT.
- Develop and maintain a robust sales pipeline to ensure consistent business growth.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create effective sales campaigns and initiatives.
Market Analysis and Insights:
- Conduct market research to stay updated on industry trends and competitive landscape.
- Analyze sales data and generate insights to inform strategic decision-making.
- Provide regular reports on sales performance, market trends, and business development activities.
Collaboration and Cross-functional Leadership:
- Work closely with other departments, such as product development, marketing, and customer support, to ensure seamless execution of sales strategies.
- Participate in cross-functional meetings to align sales initiatives with overall business goals.
Skills and Qualifications:
- 15 - 20 years of experience in sales, with a focus on software services, SaaS products, data, and IoT.
- Proven track record of achieving and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong leadership and team management skills.
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strategic thinker with the ability to develop and execute effective sales strategies.
- Experience in IT services or product companies is highly desirable.
- Proficiency in CRM software and sales analytics tools.
Educational Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field. A Master's degree or MBA is preferred.
