Role Description:
- Responsible for Security sales in India & APAC region
- The person will be responsible to grow a sales team which consists of 6-7 individuals in India
- He/she will be responsible to grow the revenues from the current annual run rate of USD 6 million to USD 15 million over the next 3 years
- Primary goal will be to build a sustainable business by focusing on growing the proportion of annuity revenues from the current mix of annuity : projects (i.e. 50:50)
- Oversees the development of account plan for key account(s), establishes executive level contacts with defined account(s) to help build and manage customer relationships.
- Would be capable to develop deep understanding of customer needs specifically in the Information Security space
- Deep insight and strong relationships in the market, must have some rolodex of CISO, CIO, CROs in India so that he can hit the ground running from Day 1
- New Business Development via prospecting, qualifying, selling and closing
- Responsible for Annual Revenue Targets.
- Manage client relationship through all phases of the sales cycle
- Provide a consultative solutions sales process to prospects
- Conducts one-on-one and group sales presentations
- Provide and lead account management to an existing territory
- Responsible for tracking customer information, forecasts and reports
- Responsible for entire sales cycle starting from lead identification, proposal & presentations, techno-commercial negotiations and order closing,
- Ensures all targets (qualitative and quantitative) are met and exceeded,
- Works closely with the technical leadership team and proposes the right solution to the client effectively,
- Establishing and sustaining ecosystems, relationships with Distributors, Software Services Co, Product OEM's
- Plan and implement account plan, establish executive level contacts, build and manage strong customer relationships.
Desired Profile:
- Aggressive, go-getter sales leader with a proven track record of leading sales organizations in India
- The person must have domain understanding of Security, Information Risk, Governance Compliance, and so on
- Prior experience in selling services is essential though product sales along with associated professional services can also be considered. Solution sales experience should be predominant
- Well networked with Senior security professional and has a rolodex of contacts
- Capability to understand and develop customer needs across vertical segments,
- Responsible for entire sales cycle, starting from suspect identification, solution presentations, techno-commercial negotiations, order finalization and payment collection.
- Ensuring overall target accomplishment.
- Coordination with technical team to ensure effective communication on clients' requirements
