Our client is a AI based HR-tech startup that provides high quality sourcing of profiles and jobs and pulls in data from multiple job portals to ease the process for their clients. Their systems allow their business clients to automate skill assessments as per their need or as per other sources if required. The machine learning system runs matchmaking algorithms and allows their clients to manage their hiring process.

The founding team and other professionals come with tens of years of experience with product management and AI-based solutions management. Based out of Pune, they manage hiring solutions for companies like Flipkart, Google, Uber, Amazon, Swiggy and Zoho among others.

As a Head of Sales, you will be responsible to validate sales processes, scale the team and provide long term vision to sales and business.

What you will do:

- Understanding the sales landscape and experiment with different strategies (including channel partnerships) to scale revenues.

- Playing the role of both an individual contributor as well as a team enabler to create a successful sales process for the company.

- Preparing the sales strategy and pitches.

- Owning the end-to-end process starting from designing stage to implementation stage.

- Administering End-to-End Project / Process Management from lead generation, client acquisition to marketing and sales.

- Analysing market trends/ competitor activities and accordingly chalk out measures for countering competition.

- Serving as a thought leader on growth opportunities.

- Creating a sales support engine for strategic planning, sales operations, finance, and analysis.

- Owning business performance metrics and forecasting.

- Building and scaling a team of sales persons.

- Owning the business development process from scratch.

- Providing the sales leads, understand the clients' needs and convert leads successfully.

- Building systems and processes to scale the team and the business.

- Adapting to different tools like Salesforce or other CRMs as needed by the company.

- Identifying the right tool and software for a sales person.

- Troubleshooting issues during sales process.

- Demonstrating leadership, direction and opportunities for sustained growth.

Candidate Profile:

What you need to have:

- Have 5 to 10 yrs of experience in building and executing sales strategies

- Experience at startups selling to SMB/Mid market companies is mandatory. Enterprise selling experience is a plus, but not sufficient alone.

- Good knowledge of setting up the entire sales process from lead generation, engagement, onboarding, closure and renewals.

- Entrepreneurial attitude highly desirable.

- Excellent communication, writing and critical thinking skills are required.

- Emotional Intelligence.

Experience: 5 to 10 years

Annual CTC: Rupees 12,00,000 to 22,00,000
