Job Summary:

- We are seeking an experienced and dynamic Head of Sales to lead our sales team in driving revenue growth, market expansion, and customer engagement through modern trade channels. The ideal candidate should have a strong background in FMCG sales with proven success in managing modern trade operations, developing strategic partnerships, and achieving sales targets.

Key Responsibilities:

- Sales Strategy & Execution: Develop and execute a robust sales strategy focused on driving revenue growth and market share in modern trade channels.

- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of regional sales managers and executives, ensuring high performance, goal achievement, and professional development.

- Key Account Management: Build and maintain strong relationships with key modern trade accounts(supermarkets, hypermarkets, large retail chains) to ensure long-term partnerships.

- Market Expansion: Identify new business opportunities, negotiate deals, and expand the company's footprint within the modern trade segment.

- Sales Targets: Achieve and exceed sales targets through effective planning, forecasting, and budgeting.

- Channel Optimization: Ensure optimal product placement, pricing, and promotional activities in collaboration with marketing and supply chain teams.

- Data-Driven Decision Making: Analyze market trends, sales reports, and customer insights to refine the sales strategy and enhance performance.

- Collaboration: Work closely with the marketing, finance, and supply chain teams to ensure alignment on promotional activities, demand planning, and product availability.

- Brand Visibility: Ensure excellent brand visibility and product placement across all modern trade channels.

Key Requirements:

- Experience: 10+ years of experience in FMCG sales, with a focus on modern trade.

- Leadership Skills: Proven track record in leading and motivating large sales teams.

- Modern Trade Expertise: In-depth understanding of modern trade channels and their dynamics.

- Relationship Management: Strong network and relationships with key decision-makers in modern trade.

- Strategic Thinker: Ability to think strategically, identify opportunities, and drive sustainable growth.

- Data-Driven: Proficiency in using sales analytics, forecasting tools, and CRM systems.

- Negotiation Skills: Strong negotiation and problem-solving skills.

- Educational Qualification: MBA in Sales/Marketing or equivalent experience preferred
