Profile : Head of Sales
Candidate should have :
- Handled more than one Region in the country so as to have broad exposure to geographies. The position is for a national level and hence this will be important.
- Handled a role with both sales and marketing at least Trade marketing.
- Should have an understanding of how to develop promo plans etc.
- Handled some transformation projects (e.g : setting up a new distribution network, launching a brand or a set of products/services etc)
- Familiar with Retailing economics of retail stores, managing a retail outlet; assisting dealers with retail outlets to improve walk ins/conversions
- Preferably an experience in running some initiative at a national level
- Understanding of both FMCG and Consumer Durables sales systems and marketing programs. Ideally should have experience in a small and large organisation
Of course, should have following basics :
- Good education (preferably an MBA)
- Experience as a Leader of a team and preferably handling a difficult situation successfully Both FMCG and consumer durables Good understanding of contemporary sales systems and practices, including
- ERP/CRM Computer savvy Capable of using Data effectively for sales planning and management Interpersonal skills of a high order been part of a management committee at (at least) a Regional/Branch level so as to be familiar with working with peer group to achieve biz results
- Experience at a leadership level of at least 5 years with a good track record.
