- Develop and ensure implementation of Sales & Distribution strategies to deliver annual revenue objectives of distributive trade, modern trade and corporate sales channels within budgeted costs
- Aggressively pursue new business and market opportunities
- Devise plans for distributor, stockiest, super stockiest management. Lead Key account management, including building strong relationships with category managers
- Drive sustainable long term sales growth through market development activities
- Devise marketing & sales promotion plans with the Marketing team and ensure effective implementation of the same
- Plan & monitor new product launches in coordination with Marketing & New product development team
- Continuously be abreast of competitor activities through competitor analysis & market trends
- Recruit, train and motivate team members to ensure optimum performance
- Identify & develop successors in the sales team. Focus on motivating work force
