Our client is the largest and fastest growing eCom B2B player in India, with the network spread across 26 states and 120+ cities across the Country.
The business operates through the 'Partner App' and enables medium & small merchants to buy a wide range of products for re-sale from the platform.
Our client is catering to the needs of merchants across 4 channels : 1. Kirana stores, 2. HoReCa, 3. Pharmacy 4. Offices & Institutions
Current Size of Flours business : Approx. Rs.500 Cr per annum
A National Category Head is responsible for the following activities for his/ her business:
- Define & manage assortment of products that should be offered in each market, catering to the needs of the local channel customers.
- Drive Sales of the category across all 4 channels with a focus on Category Penetration & average order value per customer.
- Build a strong sourcing network and assortment of brands to ensure a good mix of quality products, relevant brands, quality grades and pack sizes that compliments the customer needs.
- Build and manage relationships with suppliers/ vendor partners to drive business with a win-win proposition.
- Manage Pricing & Promotions in the Category to balance Sale & Profitability Targets. Manage 'day to day pricing' to ensure steady margins, respect brand MOP, maintain a strong competitive price perception for jiomart & commodity market fluctuations.
- Manage Inventory Hygiene, Availability at optimum levels
- Make strategies for driving Category growth in existing & new markets, make, execute & review promo plans across sub-categories, channels & markets.
- Coach, develop and manage team for consistent & efficient output.
