Principal Duties and Responsibilities: -
- Ability to interact with - C- level client executives with credibility and business acumen in directing discovery conversations toward utilizing technology in solving their Data challenges and increasing operational efficiency and ROI.
- Vertical market expertise in at least one, but preferably more than one industry that could use capabilities
- Understand product technical roadmap and be able to clearly explain it to prospects
- Publicly represent yourself as an industry expert/advocate/evangelist.
- Distill customer needs and imagine solutions to their problems.
- Organize, negotiate, and manage support from engineers and colleagues to craft solutions.
- Clear, effective communication of proposed solutions in the form of presentations, demos, White Papers, and webinars, in English, in-person and on the phone to global customers/prospects Excellent proposal-writing.
- Strong track record in winning enterprise software contracts in Data science/ sophisticated technology areas.
- Self-directed management of all stages of sales cycle.
- Demonstrated ability to retain and up-sell customers.
- Provide feedback to Marketing, Engineering and Product Management regarding business intelligence, competition, market demands, trends, new product ideas, etc.
- Create, organize, and deliver presentation of value proposition at appropriate forum - in person meetings, trade shows, speaking engagements.
Required Skills and Experience:
- Engineering Degree and work experience in software, engineering, mathematics, Data Sciences.
- Minimum 15 years- experience in Business Development or complex enterprise software sales. Outstanding communication, presentation and interpersonal skills with both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Superior project and time management skills.
- Positive team player with an ability to maintain professionalism and motivate peers and customers. Ability to travel for trade shows and customer visits.
