Our client is a world renowned leader in the field of consumables related to Fashion accessories & Apparels. They have strong business presence globally as well as in India with a credible track record for several decades and having revenues of over 1 Billion USD.

Job Purpose :

Executes sales and operational strategy for the region to achieve sales targets and market share metrics. Lead and support the sales management structure below in capability development, customer and team management.

Principal Accountabilities :

1. Budgets annual sales targets and gross-profit plans for all reporting branchs by implementing marketing strategies; analysing trends and results.

2. Manages and reviews the monthly and annual branch/regional forecast together with the Supply Chain team for all products/services.

3. Establishes sales objectives by forecasting and developing annual sales quotas for regions and territories; projecting expected sales volume and profit for existing and new products.

4. Implements national sales programs by developing field sales action plans.

5. Analyses and maintains sales volume, product mix, and selling price in line with the company strategy by keeping current with supply and demand, changing trends, economic indicators, and competitors.

6. Establishes and adjusts selling prices by monitoring costs, competition (SWOT), and supply and demand.

7. Achieves debtor targets through regular review of outstandings and overdues.

8. Designs and implements market activations and secondary schemes within agreed budgets.

9. Completes regional sales operational requirements by scheduling and assigning employees; following up on work results.

10. Delivers productivity targets by executing the Digital strategy (eComm app and Sales force app).

11. Assists in and actively recruits, selects, orients, and trains employees.

12. Manages sales and business operations for the region by counselling, disciplining, coaching and developing employees; planning, monitoring, and appraising job results for the region.

13. Maintains professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; participating in professional societies.

14. Acts as in internal interface with Product managers and the Supply Chain team in launching/eliminating new/old products, demand planning and forecasting.

15. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as required.

16. Leads the team in developing town development plans for expanding premium categories and increasing retail presence.
