Position: Head Sales (Construction Equipment Finance) Location: Bangalore, Reporting To: MD Job Description: Client is looking for a Sales Head to shape sales organization and grow revenue, relevance and profitability to the next level. The ideal candidate will be responsible for : - Designing, implementing and executing commercial &amp; sales strategies - Building a team of Finance Sales Managers - Providing leadership &amp; motivation to the Sales team and - Developing relationships with Group Business Area (BA), dealers, customers and Credit and Operations colleague The position will be responsible for new markets, strategizing next steps, negotiating complex deals and winning business against the competition in head-to-head opportunities. This position will be the key contributor towards achieving the sustainable volume and profitability goals. Key Result Areas: Leadership Role: - Develop weekly/monthly/annual and seasonal sales targets, examining/revisiting growth opportunities, enabling sales improvements, and taking responsibility for sales performance against targets - Lead the sales team and motivate them to deliver the volume and penetration targets in a safe &amp; profitable manner for the company. - Marketing activities for new product launches,, promotions, and campaign activities for maximizing sales opportunities. Establish and lead the adoption of departmental vision and values, which forms part of the work culture. Strategy - Analyse markets to identify high growth opportunities and develop specific sales strategies and initiatives for those markets, especially targeting profitable market segments. - Optimize market mix relative to the core target consumers and identifies the roadmap that will lead to achievement of the department's goals as well as the overall goals of the business. - Work with senior management to establish, implement and monitor sales objectives, strategies, and operational results on a timely basis Relationship &amp; Collaboration - Manage &amp; own relationships with Group BAs. Interact with management on a regular basis, be a bridge for communication between Management and BA Management team, focus on strengthening &amp; growing the business relationship, drive business strategy in a coordinated manner resulting in the delivery of highly effective captive financing solutions for the Group - Establish and maintain relationships with key decision makers within manufacturers, dealers and customer influencer group - Make joint sales visits / calls / meetings with Sales team members to support key relationships or enhance the opportunity for new business Others - Prepare detailed analyses of sales performance for reporting sales strategy successes, weaknesses, and opportunities to senior sales management. - Identify areas of improvement in sales strategies and with a view of establishing actionable insights for improving sales and business profits. - Act as a cultural ambassador, constantly communicate and demonstrate the client's Way and Code of Conduct - Cooperate with other business areas in meeting company-wide objectives - Liaise with client's Regional and global Operations teams, as required - Perform other special or non-routine tasks as assigned Education &amp; Experience: - MBA / PGDM or Post-Graduate Degree or Professional Degree from a reputed B-School or University or Institute. - At least 15 years- related experience in reputed NBFCs or banks, of which the last 5 years must in a sales leadership position in the Commercial Vehicle finance industry - Demonstrated ability to lead a sales team Competencies &amp; Skills: - Expert in sales and marketing strategy, sales processes, sales policies and committed to high quality of service - Must possess exceptional communication skills that are especially important in enabling effective communication between consumers and external partners. - Drafting reports, delivering presentations to consumers, senior management, stakeholders and external partners - An energetic go-getter, motivator and creative individual with high work ethics - Ability to see the - big picture- and help implement the company's strategy as a team player - Should be self-motivated, have a strong entrepreneurial spirit, be adaptable to business growth fluctuations, work comfortably and effortlessly in group settings, be a persuasive and charismatic individual, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and work well under the pressure of stringent deadlines - Proficiency in the use of MS Office applications
