We are seeking a dynamic and results-driven sales head to lead our business expansion efforts in the Indian banking segment. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of the Indian banking industry, understanding of the software development and product engineering services and the ability to build and manage a high-performance sales team.
Key responsibilities :
Market Analysis and Strategy:
- Conduct thorough market research to identify opportunities and trends in the Indian banking sector.
- Develop a comprehensive sales strategy to penetrate the target market and achieve revenue goals.
Team Leadership:
- Build, lead, and motivate a high-performance sales team in Mumbai.
- Set clear sales targets and provide guidance to ensure the team meets and exceeds revenue goals.
Client Relationship Management:
- Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with key decision-makers in banks and financial institutions.
- Understand client needs and position our test automation solutions as essential to their success.
Sales Pipeline Management:
- Develop and manage a robust sales pipeline, tracking leads and opportunities from initiation to closure.
- Implement effective sales forecasting and reporting mechanisms.
- Must be capable of generating leads independently.
- Must come with a good number of strong connections with CIOs/CTOs in the BFSI domain
- Collaboration with Technical and Marketing Teams:
Work closely with the technical team to;
- Understand product capabilities and align them with client requirements.
- Act as a conduit to take customer feedback.
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create compelling collateral and campaigns to support sales efforts.
Sales Presentations and Negotiations:
- Deliver persuasive presentations to potential clients, showcasing the value proposition of our test automation solutions.
- Lead negotiations and contract discussions, ensuring mutually beneficial agreements.
Performance Monitoring and Reporting:
- Regularly monitor and report on sales performance, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.
- Implement corrective actions as needed to achieve sales targets.
Quality and Relationship Building:
- Conduct quarterly business reviews (QBRs) to assess the performance of key accounts, identify areas of improvement, and align strategies for the upcoming quarters.
- Foster a culture of continuous improvement and client satisfaction through effective feedback mechanisms.
- Ensure adherence to quality standards in client interactions, proposals, and post-sales support.
Qualifications and Skills:
- Bachelor's degree in business, Marketing, or a related field (MBA preferred).
- Proven track record of at least 15+ years in sales, with a focus on banking sector.
- Strong understanding of the Indian banking industry and regulatory landscape.
