Looking for a head of Sales who can Drive & Develop a strategic plan & define the sales priorities for the company's products (existing & new)
- Strong business acumen with proficiency in delivering outstanding business growth outcomes by repeatedly exceeding targets, and penetrating new markets for revenue expansion & business growth
- Collaborate with Marketing to initiate actions to enhance the company's visibility, on online platforms as well as trade shows - value addition and benefits across existing & potential clients
- Assess the Domestic Market Potential - industry segment wise and Region wise, key account potential for products - develop action plans to tap into new & emerging opportunities
- Develop the Annual Sales Plan (quarterly & monthly targets) in line with the annual targets/ growth & development objectives covering industry segments as well as geographic regions
- Develop a strong sales team, that is purpose driven, to deliver consistent results. Assess the skills of sales team on a regular basis and enhance (including refresh) the skills of the team on a regular basis
- Review and track performance & client portfolio, critical skills of sales team and initiate corrective actions to ensure focus on Key & Strategic Clients and "Value based selling" to realize revenue & profitability goals.
- Plan the Annual Sales Expense budget for the Sales Team and Resource Requirement for sales function to achieve desired business results.
The Ideal Candidate
- Strong man management skills - ability to build a strong team of direct reports and ability to deliver results through them.
- Track record of growing, scaling business + building teams and delivering consistent results
- Strong track record of B2B direct selling in the industrial consumer industry,
- Rich exposure in providing strategic and operational drivers for integrated marketing and channel sales / distribution for rapid impact across various market Channels
- Strong network contact at senior leadership level. Track record of developing and nurturing relationships at client, partner level.
